Transfer of personal data

For these purposes and based on the trip you have chosen, we may need to transfer your personal information to other companies involved in providing your trip as well as related services. It can be partner companies, data processing companies that work on our behalf, travel agencies and credit card companies, etc. It can also mean that your personal data is sent outside the EU / EEA. We never sell your personal information.

In order to meet mandatory requirements from authorities and for Air Leap to be able to carry out your journeys, we and other airlines may be required to provide authorities with access to certain travel and booking data (so-called "Passenger Name Record" or "PNR"). The data is mainly used to prevent and combat terrorism and other serious crimes. Additional information, including information on which countries require access to personal data, can be obtained on request from Air Leap or your travel agent.

 

Protection of personal data

Air Leap ensures that the necessary security is in place to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use or dissemination. We also have the necessary agreements in place in cases where your personal data is processed by Air Leap's personal data assistants.

When you provide personal information on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for those persons having given their consent to our processing in accordance with this privacy policy and any additional conditions that apply to the specific processing.

 

Consent

In the cases required or otherwise appropriate, Air Leap will obtain your consent before the processing of personal data begins. You agree by actively agreeing to the collection of personal data.

 

Storage

Personal data is retained only for as long as there is a need to retain them in order to fulfill the purposes for which the data were collected. Thus, the information is thinned when, for example, a customer relationship has ended. However, the information may need to be saved for a longer period of time for other purposes, for example for accounting purposes.

 

Request for register extract

Private individuals have the right to receive information free of charge once per calendar year about which personal data Air Leap processes about them. Requests for such an extract from the register must be made in writing and be signed by the applicant and contain information about name and social security number. The register extract will then be sent to the registered address. You also have the right to request deletion of your personal data in cases where they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected and where there are no legal obligations to prevent the data from being deleted.
